Resumen
Objetivo: El objetivo es determinar Numero de autores, características e índice de Price de los artículos de Ortodoncia publicados en la Revista Tamé del año 2013 al 2020. Material y Métodos: la investigación es de tipo descriptivo, transversal y observacional. Se utilizaron los artículos publicados en la Revista Tamé de la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit del año 2012 al 2020 del área de ortodoncia. La muestra fue de 70 artículos los cuales fueron publicados en este periodo, se excluyeron los artículos de los números especiales de la Revista Tamé. Las variables del estudio fueron: el número de autores, tipo de articulo de ortodoncia, el contenido de los artículos y el índice de Price. Resultados: El promedio de autores por articulo fue de 3.4, en su mayoría eran docentes. El tipo más frecuente de publicación fue de investigación y el contenido que se encontró en mayor porcentaje fue la de tipo epidemiológico. El índice de Price fue de 34%. El promedio de referencias por artículo fue de 21.8. El índice de Price fue mayor en las investigaciones y fue menor en las revisiones bibliográficas. Se observo menor porcentaje en el índice de Price cuando el número de autores era mayor a 5. Conclusiones: La mayoría de los autores de los artículos fueron docentes, los temas de los que más trabajos se envían son de investigaciones epidemiológicas. El índice de Price fue bajo, el promedio de antigüedad de la referencias fue de 11 años.

Abstract
Objective: The objective is to determine the number of authors, characteristics and Price index of the Orthodontic articles published in the Revista Tamé from 2013 to 2020. Material and Methods: the research is descriptive, cross-sectional and observational. The articles published in the Revista Tamé of the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit from 2012 to 2020 in the area of orthodontics were used. The sample was of 70 articles which were published in this period, the articles of the special issues of Revista Tamé were excluded. The study variables were: the number of authors, type of orthodontic article, the content of the articles and the Price index. Results: The average number of authors per article was 3.4, most of whom were teachers. The most frequent type of publication was research and the content found in the highest percentage was epidemiological. The Price index was 34%. The average number of references per article was 21.8. The Price index was higher in the investigations and lower in the literature reviews. A lower percentage was observed in the Price index when the number of authors was greater than 5. Conclusions: Most of the authors of the articles were teachers, the topics of which more works are sent are epidemiological investigations. The Price index was low, the average age of the references was 11 years.
